Nuts & bolts:
APES' structures are designed largely within BSEN 1176, the playground equipment standard. Our staff are CSCS-registered operatives, have relevant safety and first aid training, are DBS checked where appropriate and are fully versed in working with the community safely.

APES is fully covered for products liability and our employers' liability insurance also covers volunteers. Some staff are NPTC-qualified in tree-climbing, felling, aerial rescue and using a chainsaw at height.
